Am 27.11. konnte die indische Kunst der Henna Tattoos “Mehndi” im Rahmen des Stipendiums Aktiv für Andere kennengelernt werden. Report and pictures
This is a short report on event conducted on 27.11.2015. Henna has been used since antiquity to dye skin, hair and fingernails, as well as fabrics including silk, wool and leather. On this event the traditional history of henna was explained and the method to apply was shown to everyone. Many international students participated in this event and was very interested to draw by themselves with their own creative ideas. The event lasted around 2 hours and students had lot of fun and were very excited to have these tattoos in their hands. This henna is temporary tattoo and stays only for 3-4 days so everyone who came wanted to try. Some students were also interested to write their names in their own languages and was very excited about it. I would like to thank KSG for giving me wonderful opportunity to conduct a traditional event of our country where we get to know each other.
